| Landing Zone Safety Class
Penndel Fire Company hosts Landing Zone safety
class on 10/28/03. 45 firefighters attended the LZ class put on by University
Medevac. Medivac 5 now stationed at Doylestown hospital flew in and gave the
firefighters a close look at the helicopter and the equipment it carries.

| Bucks County Firemen's Parade
On June 14th, 2003, Penndel and about 75 other fire departments got together for the County Firemen's
Parade which was sponsored by Falls Township. Penndel took home three trophies: 1st place for Ladder 8,
2nd place for Engine 8, 1st place for privately owned antique (1942 4X4 field truck), and Ashes the dalmatian
took 2nd palce.

| Confined Space Rescue Drill
Rescue 8 crew at Rohm and Haas training grounds for confined space rescue drill 5/1/03.

| Spaghetti Dinner
The 9th annual Penndel Fire Company Spaghetti Dinner was held on Sunday, April 6th, 2003. Special thanks to Paul from Penndel Pizza for making this fundraiser a continuous success. 355 dinners served in 5 hours.

| Elevator & Escalator Rescue
Penndel Fire Company firefighters performed simulated Elevator and Escalator Rescues at the Oxford Valley Mall, and at an 8 story Oxford Valley office building on April 5th and 6th. The training class was taught by the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center.

Penndel Fire Company Banquet
The Penndel Fire Company's 48th annual Banquet was held March 22, 2003.
- The 2002 Firefighter of the year award was presented to Chuck Grimasuckas.
- The 2002 Chief's Award was presented to William Oettinger.

| SCBA Training
Penndel firefighters attend Scott SCBA training class held at Station 8 March 4th 2003. 26 new Scott air packs with spare cylinders, buddy breather and rit connection options were purchased with help of a $50,000.00 Grant from Senator Robert Tomlinson's Office. The total amount for the new SCBA units exceeded $100,000.00.
