Penndel Fire Company Video

Marine Rescue

Details: Rescue 8, Utility 8, Medics 168, 167, Marine 12 and Dive Team 6 were dispatched to the Neshaminy Creek in the rear of the Neshaminy Point development for a Marine Rescue. A subject was reported missing after entering the creek. R9 was added to assist R8, C8 arrived and established command adding E7, 77, 44 and 88 to assist with the search along the Bensalem and Middletown sides of the creek both above and below the falls. The USCG, PennStar and Phila PD helicopters were dispatched to search the waters as well. R8's crew was able to use a local residents row boat to begin looking for the subject while the marine units launched from the Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park and Adventureland Day Camp. Marine's 11, 53 and Dive 41 along with many other private water craft were used along with R4, E21,MCI 143 and Canteen 4 at the scene. Despite everyone's best efforts the lifeless subject was recovered at 1900hrs. Bucks County Communications Center, Middletown and Bensalem Police, USCG and the Fish and Game Commission worked along with and assisted Command and the fire and rescue personnel throughout the incident. L65, E12, R31 and M16 covered. Thank you to all of the 60+ responders who assisted.

Hamlet Rd. Dwelling Fire

Details: Chief 8 on scene with a 2 story dwelling fire showing from side D, 2nd floor. E77-1 and E8 arrived and stretched hand lines to the interior, L31 and E7 laddered and vented. R9 was added for RIT. R8, SQ13 and E77 assisted with salvage and overhaul. L21 and R12 covered Station 8. 1 occupant was transported to the hospital by Medic 168. The fire was quickly placed under control and FM 244 is investigating the cause.

Corvette Fire

Details: AC 8 on scene with a Corvette, engine compartment well involved. E8 arrived and extinguished the fire, keeping it from entering the cars interior. It was later discovered that the car had a large Nitrous Cylinder in the trunk.

Overturned Vehicle

Details: AC8 on scene with 1 vehicle overturned, no entrapmant. The assignment was held to R8, E8 was returned.
